Great Garden's Sustainability Day

Great Gardens is holding a Sustainability Day in Forrest Place on Saturday 14th May. This free event will inspire and empower the Perth community to live more sustainably, providing great advice and live demonstrations drawn from aspects of the Great Gardens program and featuring some fantastic new additions to the Great Gardens team. WALDA will be featuring at this event to promote their efforts towards sustainability and creating great gardens.

The day will include talks from the Great Gardens celebrity team, live planting demonstrations, cooking and food tasting, kids entertainment, short focused workshops, info on renewable energy and energy efficiency, appearances from Captain Cleanup, Green Faery Cara, EMRC and other surprise guests!

Come along and join in this Saturday (14th May) at Forrest Place in Perth from 10.30 – 4pm. The WALDA stand will be located on the edge of Murray St Mall. This is another great opportunity for us to promote WALDA as a professional organisation and to educate everybody as to the importance of employing a qualified landscape designer.

It’s also a fantastic opportunity for your clients to learn about the correct way to prepare their soil, water their plants etc and to be more sustainable in their gardening practices.
